Settings & billing

Company profile, tax, users and roles, audit logs, API keys, document terms, and billing.

Company settings#

Company settings hold your legal name, address, logo, tax registration numbers, and default currency. These details appear on quotations, invoices, and PDFs, so keep them accurate.

The tax jurisdiction (UAE or Pakistan) is set here. It controls default VAT (UAE) or GST (Pakistan) rates, which compliance dashboards appear, and which tax return exports are available.

Users and roles#

Invite teammates from Users (Settings → Users, or the Users page in the sidebar). Finvora emails them a secure link to set their own password — you do not choose a password for them.

  1. 1Open Users and choose Invite User.
  2. 2Enter first name, last name, email, and optional roles.
  3. 3Send the invite. The teammate receives an email from Finvora with an Accept invite link.
  4. 4They open the link (`/auth/accept-invite`), set a password (at least 8 characters), and activate the account.
  5. 5After activation they sign in with that email and password. Until then the user stays Inactive.
  • Invite links expire after a limited time (default 72 hours). Use Resend invite on an inactive user to send a fresh link.
  • Re-inviting the same email for a pending (inactive) user updates roles if you change them and sends a new email.
  • Active users with that email cannot be invited again — edit their roles instead.
  • Plan limits cap how many users a workspace can have. Pending invites still count toward the seat limit.
  • On plans with custom roles, open Roles to create or edit permission bundles, then assign them when inviting or editing a user.

Note: The sidebar and features each user sees follow their role plus the workspace plan. Assign roles when inviting, or edit them later on the user record.

Audit logs#

On plans that include full audit logs, open Audit log from the sidebar to review who changed what across the workspace.

  • Filter by module (for example invoice, quotation, accounting, customer, inventory, billing), entity type, and date range.
  • Open a log entry for detail — actor, action, and a link to the related record when available.
  • Access requires both the plan entitlement and the audit.read permission.

API keys and Open API#

On plans with the Open API, generate API keys under Settings → API keys. Pass the key in the X-API-Key header to integrate Finvora with your own systems.

  • Finance: customers, invoices, quotations, and accounting data.
  • Inventory (when enabled on your plan): products, stock, warehouses, sales orders, purchase orders, and suppliers.

Sales document terms#

Under Settings you can maintain payment details and additional terms that appear on quotation and invoice PDFs and public views. Updates to additional terms are reflected on customer-facing documents; issued documents keep a stable terms version for audit while the latest footer terms still display where designed.

Plans and billing#

Your subscription plan decides which modules and features the workspace can use. Compare plans and upgrade under Settings → Billing (also linked from the plan badge); changes take effect immediately.

  • Plans are organized by company type — freelancers, small companies, medium companies, and accounting offices.
  • Yearly billing gives roughly two months free compared to monthly.
  • If a feature shows an upgrade prompt, your current plan does not include it.
